I am running for the National Sierra Club Board of Directors because there is no time more critical than right now to have the strongest organization we can possibly have.
I have devoted my last 16 years in the Sierra Club to leading great causes. It has been both exhausting and exhilarating to lead successful teams devoted to protecting our forests, stopping mountaintop removal mining, leading the way to a new energy future and making this organization run to its fullest capacity.
Now I would like to hear your ideas. This is a grassroots organization- so that means this Club is run by you. For me to do my job properly I need to know what you are looking for in the Sierra Club. I hope you will take a minute to respond below so that I and others can hear you out.
